Community Presentation Town of Wappinger

We are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with Town Supervisor Joseph Cavaccini and the Town of Wappinger. Our Wappinger community means so much to us, and we can’t wait to share this powerful presentation with you all.

This will be an emotional and impactful event—one that we hope will spark meaningful conversations about mental health. We encourage parents, community members, and friends to join us. For parents at WJHS, we will also be presenting to your students that morning. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain insight and help facilitate open discussions with your children about mental well-being.

We hope to see many familiar faces. Hugs will definitely be welcomed!

Join Us for a Community Presentation!

Mark your calendars! On May 21, 2025, at 7:00 PM, we’ll be hosting a Community Presentation at Wappinger Town Hall.

This event is open to the public, and we especially welcome high school students to attend.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Founder Donna Thomas thanked NYSSBA for “recognizing the impact of community and school collaboration in supporting youth mental health,” and the District for its unwavering support. WCSD is proud to partner with this incredible organization. @jameswarriors @nyschoolboards

On behalf of James’s Warriors, we are incredibly honored to receive the Champions of Change banner alongside Wappingers Central School District.

This recognition means so much to our organization as we continue our mission to raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention. Collaborating with WCSD has been both powerful and inspiring, and we are truly grateful for the opportunity to make a difference together.

Thank you to NYSSBA for celebrating the importance of this work and for recognizing the impact of community and school collaboration in supporting youth mental health.
